Meet Circus, his records say he’s an Ori Pei (Shar Pei/Pug mix) but he sure likes a Shar Pei to us.   He gets along well with other dogs, and enjoys nothing more than being near his people.  He is simply adorable.  He loves to play with squeaky toys, as well as his fur foster brother and sister.  He gets very excited and jumps up in the air like a bucking bronco.  It is so cute to watch.  He walks well on a leash, and enjoys the smells of the great outdoors.  When he takes a really deep sniff, he sounds like a little piggy oinking away.  He is a very happy boy with a lot of love to give. Circus has some vision loss due to poor care in his past life,so he will need someone patient to show him things like stairs and the “lay of the land.”  His current foster home has 3 entry stairs, and 3 stairs that go from the deck to the backyard.  He was able to learn how to use these on his first day with some encouragement.  He is currently learning how to get into and out of the car.  (He rides very well in the car, and most times, he lies down and takes a nap.)  He just needs more practice to feel comfortable with it.  He will occasionally use his mouth to “feel” things, not to wreck them, but to “see” what they are.  Circus is just a wonderful boy who will make a wonderful addition to some very lucky family.  Could that be you?
