Fall has arrived and I’m ready to fall in love with my forever family. I’m currently residing with my foster parents and two fur siblings that are just like me (Cav’s). So I tend to learn from them and sometimes that’s a great thing. For example, I’m learning to go potty outside (not perfected yet but they’re working on it!)
I’m a lover of attention and would like nothing more than to be your lap dog! But I don’t jump on or off the furniture but love for you to lift me up for the love. We can be binge buddies!
I typically latch on to my person and follow them around. I’ll follow the other dogs too, just in case they are going to have a treat or play – I don’t want to miss out!
I’m doing great at leash walks (foster mom thinks I walk a tish too close to her but sorry, not sorry). And I am crate trained. In fact I even eat in there and when I’m done, I’ll bark to let her know I’d like a refill, but she usually just takes my dish. Can’t fault me for trying!
Speaking of barking – yeah do that when the other dogs do just to see if we can harmonize. Haha. And when you return home, or when foster dad gets home from work, I will sing happy songs in a barking tone. I won’t be mad if you give me some watermelon, blueberries or green beans for treats either. I’m healthy that way.
I’m a favorite because of my cuddle skills. So get your arms and lap ready! In fact, get my spot on the bed ready because I love to share that with my foster parents too. Xxxooo, Claire
