Hello, I’m Herman, a dashing young adult male Cocker Spaniel who loves to snuggle, play, and be funny…that’s right, I love to make my people laugh! I also love saying hello to the strangers outside and chewing on & carrying around sticks whether they’re bully sticks or those I find outside in the yard!
Being on a consistent schedule is helping with potty training, and I have not met any cats, but I’m good with kids and other dogs. I have really come a long way since coming to live with foster mom. Sure, I’m still timid with new things and I don’t like loud noises, being in the kennel/crate, or a lot of commotion, but when I first came here, I was even afraid of rope-ish things (leashes, phone cords etc.); doors opening; and I wouldn’t navigate stairs. Now, I enter/exit doors with no problem; I navigate stairs like a pro; and ropey things don’t bother me as much anymore!! That said, I still don’t like being tethered to the leash and my body will freeze so I will need my new yard to be fenced.
I am a very loving boy in search of a fur-ever home with a patient family who will not only love me unconditionally and NEVER give up on me, but who will help me overcome some of my fears. Hopefully YOU will be my new family because I would LOVE to shower you with ALL the love in my heart!! Love & snuggles, Herman
