Hello, I’m Jackie, a beautiful and quiet adult female Boston Terrier. I am a curious girl who longs to be a part of this enormous world, but I am still very scared of it. For example, I do not like loud noises like thunderstorms…I mean seriously, why must thunder be so loud am I right!?! Anyway, I have not met any kids, cats, or larger dogs but I’m a docile gal and I need to have a confident doggie companion at my new home who will not only help me feel safe but will help me learn how to reach my full potential.
I am still working on potty training but I’m confident that a consistent routine will help me master it in no time. I am, after all, super smart…in addition to knowing commands like “kennel/crate” & “outside”, I am crate and leash trained. Although I do quite well with the leash, I do need my new yard to be fenced because quite frankly, the freedom is simply too wonderful to give up and I enjoy exploring the yard and basking in the sun especially when a nice nap is involved! Hee, hee!!
I have come a long way since being with foster mom and I love her for helping me along the way. However, my dream is to find a fur-ever home with a patient family who will love me unconditionally and NEVER give up on me. I am SUPER sweet, and my heart is overflowing with love just waiting to be shared with a VERY lucky family!! I promise I will add amazing excitement to your life!! Love, Jackie

ADOPTION EVENTS:
Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.
ADOPTION PROCEDURE:
FOSTER CARE:
All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. NUTRITION:
Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets. All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet. All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
