Hello, my name is Winnie. I am a beautiful and friendly adult female Maltese who weighs in at a whoppin’ 5 pounds. Now, foster mom says I’m “5# of naughty” but she’s a real jokester because I am actually a very sweet girl who simply loves to be petted & cuddled, eat all kinds of treats, say “hello” to the neighbor’s dogs, and chase squirrels! Hee, hee!! I ask you…where’s the naughty in that!?! LOL

I have not met any kids but I’m good with cats and other small dogs like me. In fact, I will need a small doggie companion at my new home and a fenced yard that we can safely explore. I do not have much leash experience and I’m not crazy about the kennel/crate because, well let’s face it…who wants to be confined am I right!?! I’m a smart girl though who not only does my personal business outside and on potty pads, but I know what “outside” means so you can clearly see I’m a bit of a prodigy! Hee, hee!!

Anyway, I really am a super sweet little girl who deserves a life full of pets & cuddles from a patient fur-ever family who will love me unconditionally and NEVER give up on me! Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends.  In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe.
