If you’re reading this, you must be on the hunt for a cute little Chihuahua mix. I’m about a year old and just a bundle of energy and cuteness!
Initially, I’m shy and a little suspicious of men, but I am a happy go lucky lady full of lots of love. When I first meet someone, I just want to be held and sometimes I will tremble with fear but eventually will calm down and enjoy watching what’s going on. At home, I’m happy and bouncy. My favorite thing is being held and I could be content just on your lap or in your arms for as long as you let me.
I’m a good eater and like playing with rubber squeaky toys and Nyla bones. I’m just 7 pounds, so a home with little kids or lots of commotion might not be the best fit. I don’t want to get stepped on accidently when I am under your feet.
I am potty trained with a potty pad and also outside. Oh and I’m crate trained also! I’m trying hard to work on leash training so I don’t need a fenced yard. I’ll keep practicing on walking nicely on a leash. I do know some commands: down, come, kennel/crate. I do well with any sized dogs that are friendly and I do need another dog in the home. Having another dog in my forever home will help me build confidence and get on a routine.
Foster mom said, “although somewhat shy, she is energetic and loves to play. LOVES to cuddle and really wants to please. She still is a puppy and will chew on anything but will drop it when told to. She has had limited exposure to men and was very afraid. She will still jump up but is so small it is usually because she wants to be held.”
All I need now is a forever home with lots of patience, loads of conditional love and a family that is prepared for snuggles!
