Hi, my name is Monica and I am AMAZING!! I have come a long way since I arrived in Minnesnowta. This was likely the first time I experienced snow and it was an adjustment, but I am a smart girl and figured it out. I am very food motivated, so I’m a good candidate for training me to do things like go in and out of the house and coming when my people call. Just keep treats nearby and I am ready!
My people said that I was a bit shy when I arrived and have shown them what a silly and fun girl I am! I do get a little nervous when I initially get picked up, but am getting used to it and really do enjoy being around my people. My ideal forever home is one that will let me lay around and be pampered all day with belly rubs and scratches. I do love some good snuggles and cuddles too. Just in case you decide to leave me home alone – I do have things to say about it (bark bark!).
There are so many important dog skills I am learning – I like to play with the other dogs in my foster home and am good with all dog friendly dogs. I recently discovered how much fun small tennis balls are! They are my jam! If you have another dog that will play with me – that would be fun! I am a social girl so if you don’t have another dog, maybe we could go on adventures and walks together. Speaking of walks, I am working on leash training and if you promise to keep practicing with me I don’t need a fence in my forever home. We are also still working on perfecting my potty training and I am doing great on a schedule. I am embarrassed to say that sometimes I have accidents – but I am trying my best. Sometimes I try and delay trips outside as long as I can to avoid the cold – brr!
My people said they love my antics and call me their little piggy – I have to admit I am a little round and looking forward to practice leash walking and playing outside when the weather gets nicer.
All I need now is a forever home with lots of patience, tiny tennis balls and some treats for this good girl! Can’t wait to meet you!
