Hello, my name is Jazzabel but Diva, my best friend in the entire world, calls me ‘Jazzy’. I am a gorgeous and very affectionate adult female Chihuahua mix who is a bit reserved when visiting new places/people, but I have enjoyed everyone who has come to the house. I don’t have a lot of crate or leash training, so a fenced yard is needed at my new home!! I am however, a very smart girl who not only does my business outside and on potty pads, but I know commands like “sit”, “down”, “wait”, “go potty”, and “outside.”
I am usually quiet unless I’m reacting to something and I’m a docile girl who would probably be ok with cats however, I’m very little and fragile, so kids are not a good fit for me. I LOVE eating treats but I’m not big on playing… No, I’m one of those couch-potato types that has small spurts of playfulness! In fact, when it comes to playtime, I’m more of the supervisor type, I must watch out for my BFF Diva; she and I go EVERYWHERE together and she’s always looking to me for reassurance before she starts frolicking around! She’s a silly girl that Diva!! Sorry, I digress…back to me now! MY favorite activities are cuddling in a lap whenever I get the chance and burrowing under blankets. As a matter of fact, if there’s ever a time my family can’t find me, they start movin’ some blankets and there I am…enjoying the solitude…just me and my thoughts!! Hee, hee!!
Anyway, Diva and I are looking for our fur-ever home with a patient, unconditionally loving fur-ever family who promises to NEVER give up on us. We may be little, but our hearts are huge and overflowing with love that we dream of sharing with someone very special…YOU!! I promise that Diva and I will love you more than you could EVER possibly imagine!! Love, Jazzabel

ADOPTION EVENTS:
Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.
ADOPTION PROCEDURE:
FOSTER CARE:
All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. NUTRITION:
Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets. All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet. All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
