Hi, I’m Chewie a friendly, cute and good natured little Pekingese. I love to sit on my people’s lap and get all the love. I will walk right up to my people and give them a sweet look so they know I am looking for some scritiches.
I like crinkle toys and treats – I love treats!! Hopefully my forever family has treats (hint hint)! I’m smart and eager to learn – so treats are helpful! We are working on important dog skills. My potty training is going good if I am kept on a routine. I promise that I am practicing and will need more practice in my forever home – we can do it together! I don’t mind the kennel if it isn’t for long and we haven’t started working on leash training (brrrrr!) so I will need a fenced yard in my forever home. I REALLY love playing in the yard – zoomies with the other dogs in my foster home are one of my favorite things to do.
There are several dogs in my foster home and I will need a confident, social and friendly dog in my forever home. Having a confident dog will help me get on a routine and help me with confidence and manners. I do get a little anxious about things like food or toys.
I don’t know many strangers, because I am positive everyone is my friend, sometimes they just don’t’ know it yet – hee hee! I do bark a bit when I want attention – sometimes I have things to say.
What do I need next? YOU! If you are looking for a cuddly friend, who will love you unconditionally, I am the dog for you. If you are interested, please fill out an application to adopt me. I'm excited to find my forever home.
