Hello, my name is Mac. I am a ruggedly handsome adult male Pug who may be a bit timid and shy, but I allow people to pick me up and snuggle me whenever they want! Hint, hint!! For the most part, I’m a pretty low-key type of guy but I have my playful side too and will start running around to play chase with people or other dogs! I also like to chew on hard toys, pretend nibble on my people, and take nice long naps!
I have dry eyes that may require ongoing eye drops but that doesn’t hinder my zest for life! I am a very sweet boy who is coming out of my shell more and more each day. Foster mom is helping me learn about leash walks, but I do stop often…maybe exercise just isn’t my thing but mom hasn’t given up on me! I love exploring the house and backyard; following foster mom everywhere in the hopes that she’ll stop and realize that whatever she’s doing is NOT more important than giving me lots of love and affection…I’m just sayin’!! Anyway, I am crate trained but I will voice my discontent if I am left alone, and potty training is still a work in progress. I was recently neutered so foster mom and I both are hoping that will help alleviate my tendency to mark. I live with two small children and two small dogs with whom I get along well, I have not however, met any cats but I think I’d be ok with them since I’m so docile!
I know that foster mom is going to be very sad when I leave but she knows that my biggest dream is a furever home with an unconditionally loving family who promises to NEVER give up on me! Will YOU please be my new family because I cannot wait to begin my new life!! Love, Mac
