Hello, my name is Felicity and I am a pretty, sweet and timid female shih tzu. I am a very polite girl and working on being brave with the people in my foster home.
My favorite things to do are to be with my pack – this includes the other dogs in the house and my foster people. I like to follow my foster mom when she goes out to the yard. I do enjoy being outside in the yard with the other dogs laying in the sun and following them around. I am quick about going out to the yard to do my business – I am great at following the other dogs in and out. We are working hard on a routine so foster mom calls me a work-in-progress for potty training. I am not leash trained so will need a fenced yard in my forever home.
When we are inside, I like chilling near the other dogs and following foster mom around. She might do something exciting and I am learning so many new things and don’t want to miss out. Recently I started letting foster mom hold me like she does with the other dogs. When it is dinner time I get excited and bark – I really like meal time and am such a happy girl!
We are working on so many new things and them most helpful thing has been having another dog in my foster home to show me the ropes and help me get on a routine. Another dog will be great for my confidence, and I know I am good at follow-the-leader.
Anyway, foster mom says I am such a sweetheart and is very proud of me for learning new things and learning how to become a dog. She says I am the cutest little girl when I am excited and crawl on my tummy to greet her. I really wants nothing more than to find a patient and unconditionally forever family who is looking for an amazing companion! Love, Felicity
