Hello, my name is Lola. I am a gorgeous adult female Shih Tzu who has sort of a goofy, clumsy, and unsure way about me. In addition to being part of the group, I enjoy playing with flat, floppy, crinkle toys, chewing on bully sticks, and eating beef cheeks. Though I’m still apprehensive, I have started trying new things like being petted and sleeping on a pad. I haven’t yet made it to the bed, but I just keep telling myself… “In due time Lola…in due time!” Hee hee!

I may still be a bit jumpy, but I am also one of those girls who is not afraid to speak up when I have something to say! I have not met any kids or cats and I am working hard at learning about the leash, crate and how to do my business outside. Thankfully foster mom is wonderfully patient, and she knows that these things take time, consistency, and loving encouragement. As long as my new family understands this too, I know will master all of it in no time! My new home will need to have a fenced yard to help keep me safe and a companion who will be able to not only keep me company but show me the ropes.

Well, that’s enough about me for now. I’m going to go nap on my pad and dream about the furever home I will hopefully have with YOU! Love, Lola
