Hello humans! My name is Sylvester! I’m a six-pound male yorkie dog. I am a senior dog who is about 10 years old. When I first got to my foster home, I was very shy and scared. I didn't have a lot of experience living in a home with people and or how to be a proper house dog. I am so proud to say that with the love and patience from my foster family I’ve been able to come out of my shell a little more everyday. I am still scared of new places and new humans, but once I get attached to you, I know that someday we will be great friends!
I love to sleep in my crate because it’s a safe space for me. I also love cuddling up in my human’s lap and asking for little treats. My biggest fear is overwhelming commotion and I also hide from young humans sometimes. My ideal home wouldn't have little kids or only have kids understand my tiny size and age, I don't want to get hurt!
I am trained to go potty outside and in my potty pads because whenever I do I know I’m a good boy! I do sometimes leave my mark on the furniture - again, I am still getting used to being a housedog so we will have to work together on potty training and a routine. My furever home doesn’t require a fenced yard or another fur friend to be living in it. I’m a very good boy when I walk on a leash to go potty and get exercise. I don’t mind other good pups if they don’t try to steal my food or treats and don't jump all over me. Sometimes high energy dogs overwhelm me.
I’m always very respectful to cats and I only bark when I’m alarmed which are two more wonderful things about me. I am so incredibly grateful for my foster family and I’m so excited to meet the humans who are thinking about adopting me into their furever home. I’m a very sweet, respectful, and loving senior dog who wants to live out his retirement from breeding in a furever home that makes me feel safe and sound. I promise that I will be the best new addition to your home! Thanks for reading humans! Love, Sylvester.
