Hi I'm Bluebell!  I'm a beautiful girl with sass and a happy attitude.  I usually have a happy smile.  When I'm doing something a little naughty I get this little half smile smirk that I give my mom so I don't get into trouble.  How can you be mad at this face am I right?  I can be a little nervous around strangers and tend to walk away to a safer spot so I can observe them.  If you're my person though I will stand against your leg so that you can pet me and give me ear scratches.  I just adore the attention!  I like my meals but I don't seem to care too much about treats yet.  I don't love being kenneled but  I do ok in it.  I will bark for a few minutes and I'll spin so I can get your attention and remind you that I should probably go with you.  After all why wouldn't you want me with you? I'd probably do best being gated in a room if you need to leave me for some reason.  I like dogs of all sizes but I also don't pay a lot of attention to them.  I haven't had much practice walking on leash yet so I'm hoping my new family will be willing to work with me on that.  I'm told there's lots of neat things to sniff out in the world.  Until then I'd love to have a fenced yard where I can be safe todo my business.  I'm doing well on potty training.  I do like to be let out often to keep me on track.  I haven't really met any kids but loud fast movements can spook me so I might prefer slightly older kids for now.    I can't wait to find a home where I can continue to grow into a super confident lady and share my smiles and love.  Could you be the one for me?
 
Some of our dogs are obtained from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. Others have come from various situations where they are lacking confidence in humans. In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.

ADOPTION EVENTS:   

Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.

FOSTER CARE:

All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. NUTRITION:

Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
